Aims and objectives:
1. Society is established to maintain and foster contacts and communication between and for mutual benefits of Zoology Department.
2. Society is established to promote co curricular activities as well as other related to students, which are appropriate and shall have power to do all such law full things as are necessary or desirable.
3. To maintain discipline in Department and University as a whole.
4. To conduct and organize all the activities, events, surveys and seminars related to Zoological studies.
5. To provide members an outlet for creative impulses.

Constitution of “Zoological Society”
Name of Society:
The name of departmental society will be “Zoological Society”.
As it shall represent the department of Zoology and will have the main aim to improve the awareness about the Zoology.
Roles and Responsibilities of Zoology Society's Members
President:
President will lead the Society, conduct things with the help of secretaries and manage the things by direct contact with faculty members of the Society.
Vice President:
Vice President share the responsibilities of president in the absent of the president and will help president in implementations.
General Secretary:
General Secretary will manage all the working of Society with the help of management and decoration heads, manage the sponsors, get permissions and will fill the requirements of Society.
Joint Secretary:
Joint Secretary will help the General Secretary in all responsibilities and also work in the absence of General Secretary. He/she will take notice and provide assistance to needy students with the help of Additional Secretary.
Information Secretary:
Information Secretary will inform all about the activities and events of Society and will coordinate. He/she manages all the media of information’s like: face book, mail, messages, calls etc.
Finance Secretary:
Finance Secretary will manage all the finance, collection of finance and check and balance of money.
Head Advisory:
Head Advisory will be responsible for implementations of rules, suggests the improvements and work through his advisory team.
Additional Secretary:
Additional Secretary will get the information of student’s problems and present a report for implementations.
Head Management (outdoor / indoor):
Head Management will control and manage the indoor and outdoor management through its members in arranging and organizing.
Head of Decoration:
Head of Decoration will take care of all the decoration matters and will plan the promotion of events through banners etc.
Objectives of Society
1. Society is established to maintain and foster contacts and communication between and for mutual benefits of Zoology Department.
2. Society is established to promote co curricular activities as well as other related to students, which are appropriate and shall have power to do all such law full things as are necessary or desirable.
3. To maintain discipline in Department and University as a whole.
4. To conduct and organize all the activities, events, surveys and seminars related to Zoological studies.
5. To provide members an outlet for creative impulses.
Rules
1. The members with two consecutive leaves without proper informing with any reason shall be subjected to termination.
2. All decisions will be finalized by mutual discussion during meeting, with contribution of thoughts from all members.
3. Leaders should always be respected and followed and all members of Society should agree at favorable suggestions of Leaders as President and Vice President.
4. Punctuality of time should be stressed.
5. Any disciplinary act will lead to termination of member ship by faculty members & President.
6. The members will obey the hierarchical role and responsibilities.
7. Members will actively participate in Society issues.
8. The Society’s activities should be funded by Agreements of Finance Secretary; As He will be responsible for all financial activities.
9. Members of Society should play an ideal role to improve communication with other departments of University.
Procedures / Codes of Conduct:
1. Anyone can put up a plan if that person gets 60% of votes + agreement from Faculty members, in Society meeting.
2. No Plan should be implemented without discussion in meeting.
3. Any problem of members, related to society will be eradicated by faculty members.
4. In any matter the decision of faculty members shall be final.
5. The Agenda of meeting shall be informed (Before meeting) to all members.
SELECTION AND QUALIFICATIONS OF EXECUTIVE BOARD
Candidates for all offices will be selected yearly from the general body of members of society. The new enrollment of society will be opened for students in every spring season; every student of zoology shall be eligible to apply for the Zoological Society Membership.
All the officers will be selected by the executive faculty members through interview or departmental elections. Preference will be given to the members who have related experience in the past.
Vacancies will be filled according to the rank of the Executive Board.
ORGANIZATION
Decisions related to event management and society management will be made by the Executive Board.
Decisions related to choosing members and their posts will be made by the Executive Faculty members.
AMENDMENTS TO THE CONSTITUTION
The constitution may be amended through the following methods:
Amendments must be proposed (or sponsored) and seconded by members of the Society.
Proposed amendments will be tabled for a week and the motion must be written in exact form and circulated to all members of the Society. Voting will be done on the issue during the next general meeting of the Society.
It will need two-thirds (2/3) majority of the members present in that meeting to pass any amendment.
